Arc Herkimer’s Justina Kiefer Recognized with NYSID’s 2021 Joslin Award for Exceptional Performance at Herkimer Industries During National Disability Employment Awareness Month
Arc Herkimer’s Justina Kiefer has been recognized by New York State Industries for the Disabled (NYSID) as an “outstanding performer” through the 2021 William B. Joslin awards program, fittingly during National Disability Employment Awareness Month.
Kiefer is employed on a NYSID Preferred Source contract with Herkimer Industries, a division of Arc Herkimer. These contracts provide meaningful employment and the power of a paycheck to people with disabilities.
According to Vice President of Industrial Operations Michael Lamb, “Justina has been a dedicated employee at Herkimer industries for over fifteen years and she has made great strides in both her professional and personal development.”
This is the 18th year of the Joslin awards program. Arc Herkimer celebrated Kiefer with an award presentation and reception. In addition to her award, Kiefer received a check for $500, and her story published in the NYSID yearbook.
