Arc Herkimer Chief Information Officer, Peter Bizzari
Peter Bizzari has been named as the new Chief Information Officer (CIO) for Arc Herkimer.
As the CIO, Bizzari will lead Arc Herkimer in managing the IT infrastructure to create stability, proactively perform upgrades in anticipation of the new wave of technology, enhance cybersecurity processes, as well as work on projects that integrate technology into the lives of individuals with disabilities.
“Arc Herkimer has an extraordinary track record of growth and success, positively impacting the disability community and beyond,” says Bizzari. “I am honored to aid in this continued success as a member of the Executive Team; through the use of technology, we will continue to enhance the lives of the people we support.”
Bizzari worked for 14 years in a non-profit healthcare setting as the Director of IT & Compliance. He also managed both the medical records and purchasing departments. In his role, Bizzari was responsible for building the information technology infrastructure from the ground up, which provided him with the opportunity to expand his knowledge in networking, as well as further his career.
In addition to his experience, Bizzari also possesses a Master of Business Administration and an Advanced Graduate Certificate in project management from SUNY Empire State College, as well as Bachelor of Science in health services management from SUNY IT (now SUNY Poly).
